A $20 million funding goal has been set for the Consortium. Efforts will be made to garner funding through solicited and unsolicited mechanisms including grants, cooperative agreements, foundations, pharmaceutical companies and government earmarks. In addition to pursuing funds to support the activities of the Consortium, funding opportunities for each program will also be sought to allow each program to hire additional faculty and staff and to provide tuition and stipend support for students in need.

Partnership Building:

Each program will work to increase the number of partnerships with other HBCUs, majority institutions and other relevant agencies and individuals that share the mission and vision of the Consortium.
